Zreče (cerkev sv. Egidija) - Gorenje pri Zrečah

Access to starting point:
We leave the Styrian motorway at the exit for Slovenske Konjice, then we follow the signs for Zreče. When we arrive in Zreče from the roundabout near the Spar store, we take the exit for the industrial zone, then descend to the parking lot located between the parish church and the Zreče primary school.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we first walk to Okrepčevalnica Živ - Žav, then turn right and cross the river Dravinja.
Immediately behind the bridge, we turn onto the road, along which there are red mountain signposts for Rogla and Gorenje, and we walk for some time beside the industrial zone. Later, blazes from a smaller crossroad direct us right into the dead-end street Strme ceste, where we continue to the last house, and before the house, blazes lead us first slightly left, then more to the left into the forest, where we follow the blazes at the crossings. Higher up, we reach a pasture, where we go left, and from the pasture, a little higher, we turn left again, back into the forest. A little further, we cross a macadam road that leads to a nearby farm and continue along the path through the forest, which gradually flattens. When we reach another road a little further, we follow it to the left, continuing along it until we reach a junction with a slightly wider road, which we follow to the right in the direction of Rogla and Gorenje. A little further, a path from the settlement Zlakova joins from the right, and we continue past a few houses. When the hamlet ends, blazes lead us left onto a footpath, which takes us through a strip of forest to scenic pastures, across which we ascend diagonally. Higher up, we reach the edge of the settlement Gorenje pri Zrečah, where we step onto an asphalt road, and by houses and farms, we continue to the center of the settlement, where the inn Smogavc is located.
