Access to starting point:
We leave the Štajerska motorway at the exit for Slovenske Konjice, and then we follow the signs for Zreče. When we get to Zreče, we park at the parking lot by Terme Zreče.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the road which continues towards the north, and we soon get to a marked crossing, where a marked path branches off to the right towards Gorenje and Rogla, and we still continue on the road or sidewalk. The road, on which we walk in a gentle ascent gradually turns towards the northwest, and after approximately 15 minutes at the chapel we go left on a side road, by which after a few steps we notice the first signs for Golek.
At the signs we go right, where we go past a few houses, and at the next chapel the path splits.
We continue straight in the direction of tourist farm Ančka and the peak Golek (right - Golek via Bork).
A little further, the settlement ends, and the path ahead leads us by the pasture. At the first crossroad, we go straight, at the second, before the quarry we go right towards the summit of Golek on a macadam path (straight - TK Ančka). Macadam road quickly brings us into the forest, where the path once again splits.
We continue right in the direction of the steep path, which is further marked with red dots (straight continues the normal marked path to Golek). We continue for a few steps on a cart track, and then the red dots point us slightly to the left on a footpath which ascends more and more steeply through the forest and brings us to the ridge. For quite some time, we steeply ascend on and along the ridge, higher the path flattens and brings us to a cart track, where we cross the marked path Zreče - Golek (path via Bork).
We continue straight and again start to steeply ascend. A few minutes higher we leave the forest and return to the marked path, which we reach near the peak. Here we go right and in a few tens of steps we get to the log box on the top.
