Access to starting point:
From the Ljubljana - Maribor highway, take the Celje - center exit and continue driving in the direction of Laško and Zidani Most. The road leads us through the center of Celje, and then before the Savinja brings us to a roundabout with a fountain. Here we continue "straight" over the first bridge (direction Laško and Zidani Most) and follow the road to the next traffic-light intersection, where we continue left over the second bridge over the Savinja. Immediately behind the bridge at the intersection we continue right. After approx. 500 meters we arrive at the underpass under the railway track (on the right side a large parking lot and the starting point in Zagrad), we drive through it and continue straight past the fire station in Zagrad. We follow the road through the village, and higher in Zvodno it brings us to a smaller intersection at the bus stop, where we notice signs and signposts for Grmada right, Hudičev graben straight, parking lot 1.2 km straight. We continue straight towards the new parking lot (2020), and the road gradually flattens and narrows. New parking lot - our starting point is located just by the road before the fish farm. Here we can park and go on a trip on paths that lead either through Bojanski graben, or past Marija, or through Hudičev graben, or through Suhi potok. To the starting point we can also come from Dolenjska and Zasavje. In this case we first drive to Rimske Toplice and then through Laško to the above-described second bridge, from where we continue in accordance with the description.
Path description:
From the starting point the signposts for Hudičev graben direct us first on the road past the supporting wall back towards Celje, already after a few steps sharply to the left on a cart track which leads into the forest. We follow the cart track about 100 meters to the junction just before Hudičev graben, where we leave the path into the gorge of the Hudičev potok stream and continue to the left towards Pečovje or. Marija or Bojanski graben. We follow the marked forest path all the way to the next junction at the edge of the forest, where to the right we join the Celje mountain trail (CPP) on the forest road which comes from the direction of Celje. Already after about 100 meters we encounter a new junction, where we leave the forest road and continue to the left downhill on a cart track in the direction of Štore or Bojanski graben. When we descend all the way to Bojanski graben, at the junction we continue sharply to the right along the Bojanski potok stream. We follow the marked path in the narrow gorge by the stream, but only to the next junction, where the path branches off to the left. We follow the blazes, leave the gorge of the Bojanski potok stream and continue in a steeper ascent. Soon after emerging from the forest we join to the left on the forest road, which with a gentle incline leads to Zaroviš. After a few steps we reach the saddle on the south side of Veliki and Mali Bojanski vrh, where from the left at the junction the path from Žlajfa joins us.
If we were to continue here towards the south on the marked path, we could reach Planinski dom na Svetini, Vrunčev dom, Babni vrh or Tovsti vrh. However, we leave the marked path, and through (or past) the homestead via the saddle take the route towards Mali Bojanski vrh to the north. The path is clearly visible and becomes narrower towards the summit. After 5 minutes we reach the rocky vegetated summit, where there is no view. For this pleasure we must exert ourselves a little further, good 100 meters along the northeastern ridge slightly downhill, until a window with a view opens up on Štore, the nearby surroundings and hills from Donačka gora in the east to Paški Kozjak in the north.
