Barrenlesee is a high mountain lake in High Tauern below the slopes of peaks Hoher Prijakt (3064m), Barreneck (2954m) and Große Mirnitzspitze (2985m). The lake is situated at an altitude 2727 meters by the marked path towards the summit Hoher Prijakt. From the lake, there is a nice view mainly on rocky slopes of the nearby peaks.
