Description of mountain:
Bavški Grintavec is a mighty mountain, which is rising steeply above valleys Bavšica, Zadnja Trenta and Soča. All approaches to the summit are long and except the one from Soča also demanding. The most difficult is approach from the saddle Kanja to the summit. Because there isn't any higher peaks nearby it also has a nice view towards the central and western Julian Alps. And most beautiful is the view on the nearby Jalovec, which is rising steeply above Zadnja Trenta. The peak which has an inscription box is also the highest in the ridge from the village Kal - Koritnica to Trenta.
