Description of mountain:
Bavški Grintavec is a mighty mountain rising steeply above the Bavšica, Zadnja Trenta, and Soča valleys. All approaches to the summit are long, and except for the one from Soča, demanding. The most difficult is from the Kanja saddle. As there are no higher peaks nearby, it offers nice views toward the central and western Julian Alps. The most beautiful view is of nearby Jalovec, rising steeply above Zadnja Trenta. The summit, which has a logbook, is also the highest in the ridge from Kal-Koritnica village to Trenta.
