Brdo (climbing area below Golica)

Description of mountain:
Brdo - the climbing area below Golica - is a less prominent rocky peak at 1,192 m, located in the middle of the forest along a marked trail on the southern slope of Krvavka. The 20- to 30-meter-high walls of compact rock have been bolted and equipped by members of the Jesenice Mountaineering Section. Climbing on the walls is mainly for trained climbers-alpinists, while others can reach the tops via easy side approaches or a smaller gully. Near the climbing area is a wooden shelter with benches, and at the base of the main wall there is a box with a summit register.
