Bukov Vrh (Trnovski gozd)

Description of mountain:
Bukov Vrh is a 1,314-meter-high peak on the northern edge of Trnovski gozd. This mostly forested summit covered in beech trees descends steeply north toward the Trebuščica Valley and continues south onto the Trnovski gozd plateau. Glimpses through the treetops offer limited views toward Golaki and the Škofjeloško and Cerkljansko hribovje; otherwise, the peak is a nice ski-touring destination in good snow conditions and also a virgin forest reserve.
