Castle Riegersburg

Description of mountain:
Riegersburg Castle is a mighty fortress situated on a volcanic hill above the settlement of Riegersburg, northeast of the town Vrbna / Feldbach. In the past, it was very important for defense against the Turks and was never captured despite numerous attacks. A beautifully constructed climbing path ascends the southwest wall of the castle hill, popular among Štajerci and Prekmurci due to its "proximity."
