Castle Riegersburg is mighty castle, which is situated on the hill of volcanic formation above the settlement Riegersburg, northeast from town Vrbna / Feldbach. Castle was in the past very important in defense against Turks and in spite of numerous attacks was never occupied. On castle hill runs very nicely made climbing path in southwest wall, which is because of "proximity" popular among mountaineers from Štajerska and Prekmurje.
