Description of mountain:
Dve špici consists of two summits in the Malborghetto mountains group, namely Cima Alta (2046 meters) and Cima Vildiver (2008 meters). Cima Vildiver is the slightly lower peak, which is reached by an unmarked path. Just below the summit is also Bivouac Bernardinis. The surroundings of the peak feature quite a few remnants from the First World War; the tunnel through Cima Vildiver is particularly interesting. From the summit, where a cross stands, there is a very nice view of much of the Western Julian Alps as well as the eastern Carnic Alps.
