Dom pod Okićem

Description of mountain hut:
The "dr. Maks Plotnik" mountain hut, better known as Dom pod Okićem, is located on a meadow below the western rocky slopes of Okić peak, which rises conically from the Plešivica hill that bounds it to the east. The hut is accessible by car from Samobor and serves as the starting point for the ascent to Okić, a popular climbing center in this part of Croatia.
The hut is open on weekends but is often too small for all hikers due to Okić's popularity.
