Description of mountain:
Gamsspitzl (also Gamskögerl) is 2340 meters high mountain in the mountain group Radstadt Tauern (Radstädter Tauern). The summit is situated west from the saddle Zehnerkar Sattel above the ski slope Obertauern. From the top that has a cross is a very nice view towards the mountains above the mountain pass Obertauern, we can also clearly see mountain group Ankogel and Northern Limestone Alps at which especially stands out mountain group Dachstein. Because of the proximity of the cableway the mountain is well visited also in the winter time.
