Grad Kozje (Drachenburg)

Description of mountain:
Drachenburg Castle ("Dragon Castle") on Bredič, directly above Kozje, was first mentioned in 1286 as castrum Trachenberk but most likely built in the early 12th century, making it one of the oldest castles in Styria. The residential part in two tracts had two floors, in addition to a round defensive tower and a four-story central defensive fortification. It was abandoned in the 17th century, and only ruins remain today, accessible via two paths from Kozje.
