Großer Hirschenstein is an 862-meter-high peak, situated west of the slightly higher peak Geschriebenstein / Írott-kő, which is the highest peak of the Austrian state Burgenland. On the top, there is a large antenna tower, and beside it, a cross. From the top, due to the nearby forest, there isn't any nice view.
