Großer Sauofen (Saualpe)

Description of mountain:
Großer Sauofen is, due to its location and the shorter precipitous southwestern face, one of the more prominent peaks on the Svinja / Saualpe mountain range. Although at an altitude of 1895 m it is not among the highest peaks, a beautiful view opens up from the summit, especially to the west, where in good visibility one can see everything from the Karawanks, Kamnik-Savinja Alps and Gurktal Alps to the High Tauern and Niedere Tauern.
