Großer Sauofen (Saualpe)

Description of mountain:
Großer Sauofen is, due to its location and shorter precipitous southwestern wall, one of the more prominent peaks on the Svinja / Saualpe mountain range. Although at 1895 m it is not among the highest peaks, from the summit a beautiful view opens up especially to the west, where in good visibility one can see from the Karawanks, Kamnik-Savinja Alps and Gurktal Alps to the High Tauern and Low Tauern.
