Description of hut:
Hagener Hütte (Hagener hut) stands at 2,446 meters above sea level above Mallnitz in the eastern part of the Hohe Tauern in Austria between the Ankogel and Goldberg groups. The hut is located on the saddle between Westerfrölkekogel (to the west) and Greilkopf (to the east). It was built in 1912 and renovated in 1999. As the surrounding mountains are popular winter destinations, the hut also has a small winter room.
