Hochanger

Description of mountain:
Brucker Hochanger (Hochanger) is a 1308 m high mountain in the Gleinalpe area. Together with Rennfeld and Madereck, it is one of the three local mountains of the town Bruck an der Mur.
Hochanger does not have a visible peak but has an almost flat alpine meadow plateau around the summit cross. Near the cross is the serviced mountain hut Schutzhaus Hochanger.
From the summit, there is a wonderful view of the Mur valley, above which Hochlantsch (1722 m) and Rennfeld (1629 m) stand out.
A very nice tour to Hochanger starts from Zlatten and is suitable for almost every season. Due to its stunning vegetation, it is especially recommended to visit in spring.
