Description of mountain:
Brucker Hochanger (Hochanger) is a 1308-meter-high mountain in the area of Gleinalpe. Together with Rennfeld and Madereck, it is one of the three local mountains of the town Bruck an der Mur.
Hochanger doesn't have a visible peak but has an almost flat alpine meadow plateau around the summit cross. Near the cross is located the serviced mountain hut Hochanger (Schutzhaus Hochanger).
From the summit, we have a breathtaking view of the Mur valley, above which Hochlantsch (1722m) and Rennfeld (1629m) stand out.
A very nice tour to Hochanger starts from the settlement Zlatten and is suitable for almost every season. Because of its stunning vegetation, it is especially recommended to visit in spring.
