Description of mountain:
Hoher Burgstall is one of the seven classic peaks of the Stubai Alps, recognized by locals as outstanding in historical, tourist, and aesthetic terms, forming the popular "7 Peaks of Stubai" circuit. It is located in the Kalkkögel range, the northern rampart of the Stubaital valley. Reachable via marked paths from the Starkenburger Hütte or Sennjochhütte, despite its lower elevation compared to most other key summits in the range and relatively easy access, it offers exceptional views: all six other peaks of the circuit, Kalkkögel, the Habicht and Serles massifs, and on clear days as far as Innsbruck and the Nordkette range above it.
