Iški Vintgar (Vrbica)

Description of mountain:
The Iški Vintgar gorge is a popular excursion spot for walkers and hikers who occasionally choose a lower destination. The gorge is impassable in several places, or one must wade through the water to proceed. For hikers who want to see the gorge, a pleasant path runs along the left side (right bank of the Iška). In the Iška gorge, we encounter a natural feature that further enhances the trip: the Votli kamen, through which part of the river flows.
Vrbica is the confluence of the Iška and Zala rivers and the meeting point of four municipalities (Brezovica, Cerknica, Velike Lašče, and Ig).
