Description of mountain:
Jablje Castle or Jable (German: Habach) is located in Loka pri Mengšu (about 1.5 km north of Trzin) right above the western edge of Mengeško polje. First mentioned in the 13th century, it acquired its current appearance in the 16th century. It was thoroughly renovated by 2004 and today serves as a venue for various events. Because it is also a protocol facility, movement in its surroundings may be limited during protocol events.
The castle mainly serves as the starting point for several hiking trails, while a hiking path from Trzin over the Onger hill ends next to it.
