Description of mountain:
Keeskopf is a panoramic peak and relatively easily reachable (non-glacial) three-thousander in the High Tauern (in nice, dry summer weather), on the border between Carinthia and East Tyrol. It is positioned roughly in the middle of the numerous three-thousanders of the Hochschober group, between the elegant Glödis (3206 m) and the group's highest peak, Petzek (3283 m). From the summit, where a large cross stands, there is a nice view of the neighboring lakelets and peaks.
