Kuren is a tourist farm, which is situated in the middle of a small hamlet above Stara Vrhnika. Only few meters away from the tourist farm, there is a small church dedicated to St. Nicholas, from which a nice view opens up on part of Ljubljana Marshes and surrounding hills.
