Description of lake:
The Upper Kriško Lake is the highest-lying lake in Slovenia. It lies below Križ and the Kriški Rob on the Kriški Podi plateau and remains covered with snow and ice well into summer. The lake has a diameter of 100 m and is almost perfectly round. It offers a beautiful view of Triglav and the peaks above the Kriški Podi.
