Lomek (Lom)

Description of mountain:
Lom, with its highest peak Lomek (884 m), is a karst hill located above the tourist and health resort of Topolšica. From the summit there is an excellent view of the nearby towns of Šoštanj and Velenje with Velenje Lake and Paški Kozjak in the background. To the north there is a magnificent view of Uršlja gora and Pohorje. Half an hour's walk away is the Žlebnik homestead, where poet Karel Destovnik - Kajuh fell during World War II.
