Ovčji vrh (Kozjak) / Geissberg (Kosiak)

Description of mountain:
Ovčji Vrh or Kozjak, known in German as Geissberg or Kosiak, is a 2024 m high peak located north of the main Karawanks ridge. Rising above Celovška Koča / Klagenfurter Hütte, it offers a fine view of the northern walls of the highest Karawanks peaks, towards Rož / Rosental; on clear days, the vista extends to the High and Low Tauern. A large cross stands on the summit, with a logbook box below it that may not always contain a book.
