Pachnes (Crete)

Description of mountain:
Pahnes, at 2,453 meters, is the highest mountain in the Lefka Ori range ("White Mountains") on Crete in Greece (Pahnes is Πάχνες in Greek, Lefka Ori is Λευκά Όρη). Due to its topographic prominence, it is on the Ultra list. By elevation, it is Crete's second-highest mountain, surpassed by just 3 meters by the Psiloritis range 100 km further east.
