Description of waterfall:
Franja Partisan Hospital is a former partisan war hospital located in the Pasica gorge above Dolenji Novaki. The hospital operated from late 1943 to May 1945. It consists of numerous smaller wooden barracks squeezed into the Pasica gorge.
On 18 September 2007, a severe storm hit the wider Cerkljansko area, causing powerful flash floods. At that time, the water swept away all but one barrack. The flash floods also carried away all the items stored in the barracks that served as a museum. To date, approximately 30% of the items have been found, which have been stored in the museum in Cerkno.
After the September 2007 floods, remediation and renovation of the barracks began, and the hospital reopened to the public in 2010. The price for visiting Franja Hospital is €4 for adults and €2.50 for children (price list May 2011).
