Petelinjek (above Korensko sedlo)

Description of mountain:
Petelinjek is a smaller ridge located west to southwest of Korensko sedlo. The ridge is mostly on the Slovenian side, with only the highest peak bordering neighboring Austria. The summit is partly forested, but from the point reached by the ski lift from the Austrian side, there is a fine view of parts of the western Julian Alps, Carnic Alps, Gailtal Alps, Karawanken Alps; on clear days, the panorama extends to the High Tauern. The summit features border stone no. XXVII 263.
