Planina Rčitno

Description of mountain pasture:
Rčitno is scenic low mountains mountain pasture above Lake Bled on Pokljuka. In the past it was intended mainly for cutting grass, and the path there also for loading logs from Pokljuka forests. Today there isn't a shepherd hut, but quite a few nice holiday cottages, some of them are already very old, and cows and sheep are also grazing there. Mountain pasture Planina Rčitno is known to mountain bikers, and also horsemen and hikers, as midway point on the path from Bled towards Galetovec and our destination on Pokljuka, very appropriate is also as final destination of family trips.
