Description of bivouac:
Planinsko zavetišče Pakline is located on the edge of a ridge above Brela at 852 m elevation. It is less than half an hour's walk from the natural landmark Biokovo Eye.
The shelter resembles a wagon from old Wild West movies.
It comfortably sleeps four to five people, consisting of an enclosed section with a table and bunks, and an open terrace area.
The name Pakline comes from pine tar, formerly used as a protective coating for ships. The surrounding forest is also called Pakline.
From the viewpoint near the shelter, one side offers views of the Makarska Riviera, Brela, Baška Voda, and islands, while the other side looks toward Biokovo's peaks.
