Description of mountain:
Poglejska cerkev is a cave—a rock shelter with a small cavity—on the edge of the village of Poljšica near Zgornje Gorje, where archaeologists found Stone Age tools proving the presence of early humans in the Triglav region before farming cultures. During excavations, a bronze coin and bronze ring from the later period of early Slavic settlement were also discovered. Visitors here enjoy fine views of Gorje, the Gorenjska plain, the Bled Basin, Pokljuka, Debela peč, Rjavina, and Triglav.
