Description of mountain:
Preber is a 2740 m high peak located in the heart of the Schladminger Tauern mountain group. The summit, where a cross stands, is a very popular mountaineering goal for touring skiers, as the gentle upper slopes offer unique skiing. The view from the summit, in good weather, extends from the Lower and High Tauern all the way to the Julian Alps.
