Rifugio Croda da Lago

Description of mountain hut:
The Rifugio Croda da Lago mountain hut is located at 2,046 meters by Lake Federa in the Italian Dolomites. From the hut there is a superb view of the nearby Croda da Lago and Becco di Mezzodì, as well as fine views of the Sorapiss and Antelao mountain groups. The hut was built in 1901. It is open from 15 June to 30 September, and on weekends in winter. A sauna is also located by the hut.
