The Rifugio Scoiattoli mountain hut is located right next to the famous Cinque Torri towers. From the hut, which is served by a cable car from Rifugio Bai de Dones (itself just a few hundred meters from the road from Cortina d'Ampezzo to Passo Falzarego), there are fine views of the four or five towers of the Cinque Torri group (one collapsed in 2004), Nuvolau, Averau, Lagazuoi Piccolo, Cima Falzarego, Cima Bos, Tofana di Rozes, and other surrounding peaks.
