Schareck

Description of mountain:
Schareck is a 3,123-meter-high peak above the Wurtenkees glacier in the Goldberg mountain group. It is very popular due to the nearby cable car that greatly shortens the approach. The Mölltaler Gletscher ski center is close by. From the summit, marked by a large cross, there is a fine view of much of the Goldberg group, with Veliki Klek (Großglockner) prominently visible.
