Scharnik is a 2,655 m high mountain in the Kreuzeck (Kreuzeckgruppe) group of the Austrian Hohe Tauern.
A metal summit cross welcomes you at the top, along with the summit book and a stamp for the "Vrhovi prijateljstva" (Summits of Friendship) traverse.
On a clear day, you can enjoy an excellent view of the Carnic Alps, Lienzer Dolomites, and Hohe Tauern.
