Description of mountain:
Škavnica is 734 meters high peak above Vipava. From the top on which there is a smaller cross and a bench is a very nice view towards Vipava valley and on peaks above the mentioned valley. The peak is surrounded with rocks on which we will also notice numerous karst phenomenas. In the vicinity of the summit (5 minutes) is situated also a wooden pavilion named Bivak Teodozij.
