Škavnica is a 734-meter-high peak above Vipava. From the summit, which features a small cross and bench, there are excellent views of the Vipava Valley and the peaks surrounding it. The peak is surrounded by rocks featuring numerous karst phenomena. Nearby (5 minutes away), there is a wooden shelter called Bivak Teodozij.
