Description of mountain:
Skuta Glacier is today the largest glacier on the territory of Slovenia. Because of its position, it is in good condition and, based on data from the last 6 years, is slightly increasing. It currently covers around 3 ha. It is located below the mountain walls of Rinke and Skuta on Lednine and is a remnant of the Jezersko glacier. The danger on the glacier is mainly a larger crack in the upper part, which reaches a depth of 10 - 12 meters (depending on the winter season). Some smaller cracks have also formed in the lower part.
