Slivnica

Description of mountain:
Slivnica is a 1,114-meter-high peak located north of the Cerknica Field and the intermittent Lake Cerknica.
The summit itself is quite rounded, partly grassy and partly forested. It features a stamp box and a few benches for resting. The view from the summit is somewhat limited to the south and west due to the nearby forest and transmitters, but on clear days the Kamnik-Savinja Alps are clearly visible.
In folklore, Slivnica is best known as the home of witches who, according to legend, brewed storms in the Coprniška Cave below the peak. The mountain is a very popular hiking destination in all seasons.
