Description of waterfall:
The source of the Soča River is located at an altitude of approximately 990 metres, at the foot of the 2,379-metre-high Travnik. During longer dry periods the source almost dries up; otherwise it is a relatively strong karst spring. The water emerging from the nearby cave soon descends through steep rapids and initially also over a small waterfall.
