Description of mountain:
Titov vrh is located in the Šar planina range in the western part of Macedonia. Before World War II, it was called Veliki Turčin. After the war, it was renamed after Tito. The mountaineering society from Tetovo has organized a traditional hike to the summit every May 25 since 1980. Members of mountaineering societies from all former republics of the former state participate; this year there were nearly 700 of us. The starting point is Popova Šapka at 1700 m, with an estimated ascent time of 4 hours 30 minutes.
