Veliki Risnjak

Description of mountain:
Veliki Risnjak, at 1528 m, is the highest peak of Risnjak National Park. From the summit, which has a logbook box and stamp, there is a very nice view of most peaks of Gorski Kotar. In good visibility, one can see from Kvarner, Istria, Učka, across Slovenian Snežnik to the Julian and Kamnik-Savinja Alps, and Velebit on the southern side.
