Weißenstein (Packalpe)

Description of mountain:
Weißenstein is a grassy mountain crisscrossed with wire fences. From its indistinct summit, there is a nice view of the neighboring Ameringkogel and much of the Packalpe and Stubalpe groups. Looking west, the Seetaler Alpen group is visible, with all its highest peaks clearly discernible. From the top, there is also a view towards Slovenia. In good visibility, the border mountains with Austria can be seen, and the panorama stretches from the Pohorje, through Koroška, the Kamnik and Savinja Alps, across the Karawanks to the Julian Alps.
