25 cm of snow at Kredarica

Yesterday it snowed in the high mountains of our ranges. At Kredarica, up to yesterday afternoon when the precipitation mostly ceased, 25 cm of snow fell. In the Julian Alps the snow line was around 2000 meters, in the eastern Karavanks about 200 to 300 meters lower.

Today it will be relatively sunny in the high mountains, mostly cloudy or foggy in the mid-mountains. A weak westerly to northwesterly wind will blow. Temperature at 1500 m around 7, at 2500 m around 0 degrees C.
Tomorrow it will be cloudy and foggy. Precipitation will first affect the Julians and Javorniks area, midday and afternoon spreading eastward. It will snow above around 2000 m above sea level. A moderate southwesterly wind will blow. Temperature at 1500 m around 5, at 2500 m 0 degrees C.
