The company AdventureMenu was established in 2011 and has had a clear vision from the very beginning – to offer high-quality, tasty, and healthy meals anywhere. Although a young team, it has extensive field experience – from climbing, camping, expeditions, long races, and sailing. The long-term experience of the partner company in producing ready-to-eat travel meals enabled them to create a new line of meals that excellently serve everyone who travels a lot, camps, climbs, sails, competes, fishes, and generally spends a lot of time in nature and in conditions where cooking is not always an option.
AdventureMenu has some advantages over ordinary travel meals on the market. Most such meals achieve their long shelf life through dehydration or the so-called 'freeze dried' process, both of which deprive the food of most of its positive properties, and at the same time, food processed this way does not retain its taste and aroma. AdventureMenu meals are vacuum-packed and sterilized at high temperature while fresh. In this way, the food retains its original structure, content, and aroma. When heating the meal, no water needs to be added, and it will have exactly the same taste as freshly cooked, while still having a shelf life of three years. The meals are handmade according to original recipes using only selected, high-quality, and locally produced ingredients.
A major advantage of AdventureMenu meals is also the fact that they can be prepared or heated in several different ways. Unlike other comparable meals, which due to their dehydrated form have only one preparation method (usually in the included pouch using heating crystals), AdventureMenu meals can be heated in multiple ways. The food can be poured directly into a pan, thrown into boiling water right in the pouch, or the pouch placed in the sun, on a hot car engine, and more. Of course, AdventureMenu also offers a more practical preparation method suitable for use anywhere and anytime. It is heated using the Barocook heater in a heating pouch. Such preparation takes 10-12 minutes and allows you to do something else in the meantime (gathering wood, setting up a tent, cleaning equipment, and similar field tasks), as the meal does not need to be stirred or monitored. At the same time, this method uses no external supplies, so no fire that might go out or dishes that need washing are required. The biggest advantage of the heaters is their lightness and compactness.
AdventureMenu offers a variety of different menus. Most menus are naturally gluten-free, which aids digestion, and vegetarian meals are also available. Currently, there are eight main meals on offer: beef goulash with potatoes, chicken korma with rice, venison ragout with potato dumplings, spiced meat with bulgur wheat, pork ribs with potatoes, pork with dumplings and cabbage, chicken in wild sauce with rice, and chicken with beans and vegetables. There are also two vegetarian menus (Provençal risotto with vegetables and tandoori quinoa), two different packs of extra meat portions (turkey with onion and pork with cumin), and two breakfasts (rice pudding with plums and bread pudding with apples and cinnamon). All main meals contain 400 grams, while extra meat portions and breakfast meals contain 250 grams.
