A large part of Europe will experience very hot air in the coming days. Temperatures will especially exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the second half of the week. In Slovenia, it will be hottest from mid-week onwards, when temperatures in most of the country will approach 35 degrees, and in northeastern Slovenia and on the Goriška region it will be one degree hotter.
It will also be very warm in the mountains. At 2500 m altitude, the temperature will approach 20, at 1500 m 30 degrees Celsius.
Due to the sunny and hot weather, head to the mountains in the early morning hours to avoid walking in the hot and scorching sun. Use sunglasses, hats, and protective creams.
