Accident below Kamniško sedlo

Yesterday 30.9.2012 at 23:53 the search operation for the missing person began, who was supposed to head to Kamniško sedlo in the municipality of Kamnik and had not returned by evening hours. Mountain rescuers GRS Kamnik were activated.

Today at 6:45 the search operation for the missing person in the area of Kamniško sedlo in the municipality of Kamnik continued. Due to the possibility that the person went towards Okrešlju, in addition to rescuers GRS Kamnik and police officers, rescuers from GRS Celje station were also activated, who at 7:00 from Mozirje continued the path towards Okrešlju. At 12:23 an SV helicopter was also activated with which they surveyed the terrain and at 13:45 the missing person was spotted in the north face below Kamniško sedlo. When mountain rescuers reached the missing person they determined that she was dead.
