At 11:19, hikers on the path from Krma to Kredarica in the municipality of Kranjska Gora came across a snow-covered female hiker who had collapsed in the snow. Rescuers from GRS Mojstrana and the air rescue doctor flew to the found hiker with an SV helicopter, but she was already dead. The rescuers carried the body to the helicopter and transported her to the valley.
The hiker had a dog in her backpack, which survived the accident.
