Accident in the mountains

Today at 12:48, in the alpine route below Mount Vratca, municipality of Jezersko, a rope team detached and fell into the depths. Rescuers from GRS Jezersko, in collaboration with the on-duty HNMP team, SV helicopter, and GRS Bohinj, rescued the severely injured and deceased alpinist from the wall and transported them to the valley. The injured alpinist was transported by SV helicopter to UKC Ljubljana. The deceased alpinist was taken over by GRS Jezersko rescuers and members of the Mountain Unit of the Police.
