Accident in the mountains

Yesterday at 12:54 on the ridge towards Savinjsko sedlo, municipality of Solčava, a climber slipped into the depths and did not survive the fall. The climbing partner remained uninjured on the ridge. Mountain rescuers from GRS Celje and the on-duty team from GRS Brnik, as well as the crew of the Slovenian Armed Forces helicopter, intervened and transported both mountaineers to the valley.
